I haven't really blogged about the Trailblazer event in DC. That was a huge honor to be given, winning the campaign. Overall, the deaf community (and others) voted for me and my charity (Louisiana School for the Deaf - mainly, the after school programs) - and that was nothing but a wonderful surprise for me! We haven't picked our vacation location yet! Part of the prize was a trip anywhere we wanted. We originally wanted Greece but we want to go sometime in the early year of 2010 - and the weather isn't its best then. We're leaning towards going to RIO for the carnival events.....Whadya think???
A few photos from the purple event....
Both the I Dream Bigger campaign AND the 40 under 40 honor has gotten me alot more of local business through all the exposure so that has been wonderful for me. I can't forget the 225 article and the one in The Advocate as well. It's been amazing! When it rains, it pours down.
Us at the 40 under 40 event!

Here are some really very good news for our family! We have been fortunate to welcome not one, but TWO new family members to our ever so growing brood on the Lambert side of the family (Mom's side). Here's the first time we met Eli Avery (when we got back from Darlene and John's wedding!!)

I love how they came out (just did them today!)

Aren't they both beautiful boys???! I can't wait to see them grow. It feels like just yesterday that LOLA was born, and now she's walking, talking, and all that! Here's a shot of us at Thanksgiving at Nanny Barbara's house near Lafayette (That's Mrs. Charlo's sister).
Well, that's about enough for now! I would blog much more often but time is just running out all the time! This is just proof that I am getting all caught up and had time to do this one!!! I loved doing it and aim to do more once the holiday edits are DONE!!!!!!Thank you again to everyone for being so wonderful. Thank to all those who voted for me for the Purple Trailblazer award, thank you to all those who have shown me nothing but support, thank you to all those who have brought so much business my way and continue to give wonderful words about my work that I LOVE so much.
Thank you to Sarah, my wife, for being what she is to me. I couldn't ask for a better best friend.
loved this. i really enjoyed the adventure with you through all your recent success. i know most of it has been high and all good, you've had some downs, some stressful times, but its always worth it in the long run and you always learn from it and even become a better businessman and "service provider" to your clients :)
i LOL @ the 2 different family pixs LMAO!!!! you can tell the difference in each family, its amazing how we fit in BOTH and LOVE both equally!!!!!

Check out how gorgeous! She got ready in downtown New Orleans, got married in Metarie, then all of us partied all night on the top of the Jackson Brewery at the Jackson Square. I ended up staying with them until almost 2am. What a bunch of fun we had (and it's evident in their photos!)
Thank you again to Chris and Debbie - enjoy these photos are many years to come.

Again, I do not take anything about my job for granted - I am so appreciative that I love my job, much less HAVE one also! I am flattered that this group of highly esteemed people consider me worthy of this category of people.
I look forward to the dinner event they're having for us on December 3rd! Sarah, my parents, and in laws will be in company with me - we don't get to do that often enough so it'll be nice!
Here's a couple snapshots of the magazine for you to get the idea of what it looks like (and I will also attach the link to the online site so you can read it up close if you haven't yet/if you're even interested!).
