My Made in Looziana art project has taken off slowly but surely! I am always so busy and I've had a good number of people say they'd pose, but we just never get around to DOING it. Well, these 14 have given up their time to come to Maison Looziana and get shot for the project. I'm so thankful - and I'm loving the results!

I'm giddy with excitement. I love how Jerry & Lindsay's wedding in Syracuse came out! We got tons, tons, and tons of amazing photos. They are such a sweet set of people - and their family/friends did nothing but make me feel so welcome. That's the perk of being a wedding photographer, it's such a fast lane to making new friends!

These are some of my favorites out of so many!

I flew to Boston last month to shoot the wedding of Jason & Nicole McAnnally and we had a great time. They were such a low key bride & groom team that we all were up the night before their wedding REALLY LATE! ;-)

They got married in a town right outside of Boston near the water at an estate which is where they had their reception as well. It was a beautiful place - Sapphire Estate.

I stayed a day after and did a lowkey BBQ chill type of thing before heading back home to Louisiana to the crazy grind once again. Thanks to Niki & Jason (and everyone else who helped me out (a special shout out to Thea, Amma, & Kelly!)

Here are some of my favorites below!

Former Tate bride here and fellow natural red head. The bride is beautiful...loved seeing all the red heds and the fact that her hair was all down and sexy..that was hot.
That looked like a great party too !!!
and last one..I loved the pic where the bride his hugging the olde man after the ceremony. reminds me on the pic Tate got of me huggin my nana.
Many blessings to the new couple :)

Justin and Mary were such a fun couple to shoot on their wedding day. Both were very laid back & just a pleasure to be around! Mary is an old friend from our Gallaudet days in DC and a fellow artist (she's an art teacher now). When she got engaged, she sent an email with the kindest words - saying there was no other person she'd love to have on her big day documenting it all than me. That's always a compliment - especially when they're SET on having me, regardless of anything else. I love it!

One thing I loved about this wedding was all the LIGHT available! That's a big PLUS for wedding photographers. There is just less to stress about in terms of what light is/isn't available. Well, I had plenty of light in Danbury, CT on this day that Justin and Mary got hitched. The details were out of this world - the "perfect pair" - hence the pears being a main object popping up everywhere on the invites, the tables, and so forth. The colors too - perfect!

I loved this wedding. It was almost impossible to pick out my favorites, but here below are some of mine from their day!

Thank you Justin & Mary - for flying me in to do your wonderful wedding!
