Brent & Heather HITCHED!

On April 29, 2011 Brent & Heather Berthelot got hitched in Franklinton, La at the Louisiana Castle. I had shot one wedding there before about three years ago (Jon & Patty!!!! It's been three years???? Wow!) and loved it. When Heather said it was taking place their - I got giddy. I love a dramatic scenery. I had a ball with their families & friends. They were such a party bunch.

Amelia & Tim HITCHED!

Amelia & Tim Woodford got married in the Georgetown area of Washington DC a couple weeks ago. We had such a ball on their special day ~ we share many of the same mutual friends which is always a treat.

I love how these photos came out! Thank you Amma & Tim, for having me do such a special day in your lives. Cherish these photos for years to come!

oh gosh, i LOVED these- such a FUN FUN FUN sweet wedding. loved the details etc.
one favorite is PAX ( lil blonde boy) looking up at bride's mother shedding tears... THAT IS JUST SO SWEET!!!!!!!!

As I was scrolling through this post, my list of pictures I wanted to specifically say were ahhhmazing grew too long to keep track of. What a gorgeous bride! 'the moment' sounds so cliche to mention, but you are the master of it, non the less. I bet this couple was thrilled to pieces and moved to tears at these photos. Amazing job:)

Davor & Natalie Hitched!

After shooting Davor & Natalie's engagement photos last year, I just knew their wedding would be absolutely romantic. Of course, it was - New Orleans, St. Louis hotels, candles EVERYWHERE, bridesmaid dresses a deep red..... and plenty of roses.... and rose petals everywhere.... AND getting married on February 12, 2011 - pretty much Valentine's Day Weekend!

I had a blast. Sarah came with me to assist and we both just felt like part of the family. Everyone was so kind to us and it was just a compliment to be chosen to photograph their special day. (It always is! It's like a constant form of flattery for me!)

Davor & Natalie - thank you so much again for being such a great bride + groom team! Your wedding was stunning but you two are even more stunning together than anything else.

Congratulations!

Modern wedding photography with a vintage twist - is what immediately went through my head after seeing these electrifying photos. Everyone seemed... ALIVE! My favorite is the one with the groomsmen under the street sign - also, strangely loved the dramatic looking trolley (?) in the background.
