My brother in law, Ryan, found a wonderful partner in life a few years back. It's been crazy seeing him pretty much out of high school in the late 90's to where he is now! We are so excited about having Jessica as part of our family. I have a new sister after all!

As always I'm flattered when someone wants me to photograph their wedding, and this was no different - it was just a bit more special. ;-) I had a ball with them, their friends in the wedding party, and both families. They got married in a catholic church then had their reception at the gorgeous LSU Faculty Club in Baton Rouge. The dress, tuxes (notice the jackets!), flowers, smiles, & love were all beautiful.

Thank you to Christi Shaffett Santangelo for taking a few photos for me so I could be in the family photos!

The photos are amazing. Of course I cried through the slide show. It goes without saying how beautiful Jessica was. But the pictures of Ryan looking so handsome and grown up, all I could think about was how proud Ma Pat would have been of her little coffee milk boy.

Abbie's Bridals

I shot Abbie's bridals last August but couldn't post anything up until her wedding in October of last year, then forgot! I couldn't let this not go without being posted. I think she's such a bundle of bubblegum sweetness!

These are some of my favorites that we shot at The Cabin & on the levee of the Mississippi river near the Houmas House.

Hair was done by Amber LeBlanc at the Amber Nichol Salon & Makeup was done by Brandi.

Thank you Abbie for having me do the bridal portraits. You were a joy. Congrats on your marriage to Travis!

Brian & Courtney HITCHED!

I shot Brian & Courtney's wedding a few weeks ago in Baton Rouge - it was all gorgeous! Their wedding was at the Our Lady of Mercy & the reception was held at the great location of Camelot Club (it overlooks the Mississippi River/downtown Baton Rouge area).

oh gosh. i LOVED these. i loved how the whole feel was downtown baton rouge.. the party, the people, the style, so classy!!! i love how you caught so many people laughing and having a GRAND time and that canes grooms cake was... UNREAL!

Brian & Courtney Engaged!

Today is my first 2011 wedding gig! Brian and Courtney get hitched tonight in Baton Rouge and it's be a great time waiting to be had.

We did their engagement session a few months back and I just never got around to posting some of my favorites so to kick off their big day, I'm posting some up.

ADAM & BRITTANY HITCHED

Once upon a time @tatephoto got a tweet from @brittanymrogers saying I was referred by another photographer that she had been following out of state since I was a local. Well, this twitter hookup was a match made in heaven! :D

I did Adam & Brittany's engagement photos last March & we had so much fun. I just knew they'd be my type because they LOVE photography (Adam is a photographer too). They made the TIME for photos before their ceremony which took place at the Oak Lodge place off Sherwood Forrest. We had a ball doing them & had time to relax a bit before the ceremony. I loved the colors, the wedding dress, the brown tuxes, and all of it! Below are some of my favorite shots from their day!
