Exactly a month ago today, Jeff & Marcy got married in Maryland! As always, it's an honor to be chosen to do a wedding out of state ~ it's extra "fees" that the clients are willing to pay. I like to think it's a true appreciation that others have for my work & how much I really take it as an art form. J & M had me do their portraits last year before Jeff was deployed overseas ~ so I knew it was an important set for them, then come to find out - there was an engagement!!!!! Those portraits "became" their engagement photos ;-) Sure enough, Marcy got ahold of me and booked my services right away. Thank you Marcy & Jeff!!! I always have a blast with them (Marcy is a friend who I've been in touch with since my post Gally days).

Here below are some of my favorite captures throughout their wedding day. Again, thank you - Jeff & Marcy - for having me do your big day! It's an honor. Can't wait to see you two again, and don't forget to come visit us in Louisiana!

mrs TTP:

gorgeous wedding, and smoking hot couple. i just love how marcy is ALWAYS smiling and laughing. her hubby is truly handsome. they'll have years of pure FUN on top of the obvious love they have for each other!!!!!!!

tamara:

marcy is a beautiful bride! perfectly flawless! my favorite photo of her is the one where she's holding the mike as if she were beyonce :)

(10.25.10)
Randy, Tate's Dad:

I was just telling my bride (of 37 years) that Marcy is a beautiful young woman. She told me Jeff is a very handsome young man. I told her I hadn't seen Jeff yet. I had only gone through 300 or so pictures. Okay, okay, he's good looking.... but Marcy... if she is half as smart as she is gorgeous, she is a genius. Lucky Jeff!
I wish them many years of love & happiness!

This is a really fun story. Last summer when I went to New Orleans to shoot Kenny's photos, we used his cousin Sinny's place. She wasn't home when we first arrived, but when we first arrived - I bumped into Tim in the apartment and almost had a cow because we had never met (he didn't hear us come in) - so it was like, "um, yeah - you don't know me but I'm in your place and I promise I'm not a burglar!" LOL. He left after we had introductions between him & Kenny. In the middle of our shoot, Sinny, being a burst of sunshine.... arrives. I could tell right away I liked her! She was so mellow & just chill. While Kenny was changing into his next outfit, Sinny was checking out my website - and said "good stuff".

Well, that random meeting led to me actually shooting her wedding day! Don't you love that? I do.

Sinny made it clear that it was a very relaxed & intimate wedding she wanted. She didn't want to waste time on portraits/posed stuff all evening - so we got a good balance. We did those quickly - and the rest of the day was just all of us having a great time. This was definitely a great fashion show as well - this group of guests were all so stylish! I loved checking out their clothes & it was just all around stunning!

See below for some of my favorite images from the evening..... then check after these to see the entire album!!!

Thank you Sinny & Tim for having me & Sarah do your wedding day. It was beautiful.

I'm giddy with excitement. I love how Jerry & Lindsay's wedding in Syracuse came out! We got tons, tons, and tons of amazing photos. They are such a sweet set of people - and their family/friends did nothing but make me feel so welcome. That's the perk of being a wedding photographer, it's such a fast lane to making new friends!

These are some of my favorites out of so many!

I flew to Boston last month to shoot the wedding of Jason & Nicole McAnnally and we had a great time. They were such a low key bride & groom team that we all were up the night before their wedding REALLY LATE! ;-)

They got married in a town right outside of Boston near the water at an estate which is where they had their reception as well. It was a beautiful place - Sapphire Estate.

I stayed a day after and did a lowkey BBQ chill type of thing before heading back home to Louisiana to the crazy grind once again. Thanks to Niki & Jason (and everyone else who helped me out (a special shout out to Thea, Amma, & Kelly!)

Here are some of my favorites below!
